Generic TRA005 description
This wall-mount transformer supplies 16V AC at 40VA (2.5A) to alarm panels, the mid-rating between the plug-in 20VA and the heavy 50VA units. Mounted at the plug point, it feeds the panel's AC input which in turn runs the system and charges the backup battery. The 2.5A rating carries a typical residential panel with expansion headroom. A standard fitment on IDS, DSC and Paradox class installations.
