Digi DIG043A description
The 400-8 cable drum in red is the left-hand drum that winds the lifting cable on a torsion-sprung sectional door. Mounted on the torsion shaft, its grooves keep the cable wrapping evenly so both sides of the door rise together. Drums are handed and colour coded: red identifies the left-hand unit, pairing with the black right-hand DIG043. A worn or cracked drum chews cables and should be replaced without delay.
