Centurion CEN031 description
The black CP84E is the classic Centurion charger supply, feeding the D-series' battery charging circuit from mains. The colour identifies the generation: black CP84E for the earlier boards, green SM2A for the Evo generation, and fitting the wrong one causes charging faults that masquerade as battery problems. The first component to test when a D-series stops charging its battery. A multimeter check across its output settles the diagnosis in under a minute.
