Centurion CEN025A description
The pinion guard shields the D5's output gear and rack mesh from fingers, stones and debris, a safety and longevity part in one moulding. Regulations and common sense both favour covered pinions, particularly on gates children pass daily. Cracked or missing guards are a routine audit finding, and the replacement clips over the standard D5 pinion area directly. Fitting one takes a minute and removes a pinch hazard permanently.
