Nemtek WIR003C description
Nemtek solid aluminium alloy fence wire, model EW-AL16/500, is the 500m roll of the 1.6mm aluminium conductor. Its low resistance of 27 ohms per kilometre keeps fence voltage up along the run, with a tensile breaking strength of 60 to 70kg and 10 to 11 percent elongation from the alloy. The half-size 3.12kg roll suits residential installations and smaller jobs where a full 1000m roll is unnecessary.
