Nemtek WIR003 description
Nemtek solid aluminium alloy fence wire, model EW-AL16, is a 1.6mm conductor optimised for electric fence performance. Aluminium's low resistance of 27 ohms per kilometre keeps voltage up over long fence runs, and the alloy gives a tensile breaking strength of 60 to 70kg with 10 to 11 percent elongation. Light and corrosion resistant, it is the standard choice for inland perimeter fences where run length matters. Supplied on a 1000m roll weighing 6.25kg.
