IDS INH022B description
The Xwave2 hub brings wireless expansion to IDS panels: up to 16 Xwave2 or OPTEX wireless detectors connect to one hub over supervised 868MHz links. Continuous polling between hub and detectors means a missing or jammed sensor is reported, not silently lost, and bi-directional remotes get system status feedback at the keyfob. Wireless zones make retrofits and rentals practical where wiring is impossible, and outbuildings join the system without trenching. The hub mounts centrally and wires to the panel bus.
